when i was a kid, my favorite thing in the world was a good piece of cardboard to draw on. a few weeks ago i rediscoved a few old friends, crayola crayons and cardboard. its the rawness of it that i enjoy, and i am trying to keep the subject just as raw or exactly the oposite of it as i can get. i really enjoyed this picture that i tried from memory of a friends elk hunt in the mountains. after i was done i found an old window to use as a frame. i am proud of how it turned out and there will be more to come from this series.
